Description

A rebrand  for one of the top supermarkets in the country. A main mark and secondary mark depending on signage and product it will be used. A showing of stationery mock-ups, employee apparel mock-ups, and examples of different products being labeled with both marks.

Process

Harris Teeter's rebrand started with thorough research with the interest of wanting to find out how the 37th largest very well known super market company began and wanting to know their whole story. They were owned by the brothers of Willis L. Teeter and brother Paul who owned their first store in Mooresville, NC called Teeter’s Food Mart. Other partner is W.T. Harris who owned Harris super market in Charlotte, North Carolina. Current logo of Harris Teeter is too cartoony and it looks like they sell food toy's and not grocery's for the communities across the East region of the United States.

My process began and ended with these few stages:

  1. Thorough Research

  2. 50 + sketches

  3. 2 stages of critiques

  4. Refinements

  5. Creating Stationaries

  6. Proposal

  7. Mock-ups/Hand made mock-ups
